Great way to energize the body. An intense neck and back opening, an easy movements anyone can do.

Each week video blog  Adam Quang will challenge him self to use yoga ancient art (originally designed for bodies that squatted and sat on cushions from 3300 BC – 1700 BC) by redesigning it to adapt to our chair-sitting/ high-heel wearing industrialized lifestyles of today, by deconstructing the mystique of the yoga pose and presenting it in simple movements and terminology.

The  goal is to make it accessible to everyone, including people with limited mobility (i.e. problems that are caused by sitting at the computer) and therefore, exercises are structured to reduce pain and discomfort, while focusing on prevention and healing.

Emergency Back Pain Relief

Emergency Back Pain Relief with Back Care Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a very gentle practice and safe for “all” participants, where you lie in a yoga position and relax into the pose. Postures are meant to be done fully supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps. Once set up in a pose, you should be able to release all the muscles in the body into a passive stretch. These are the slowest classes (least vigorous) of all yoga styles.

The artist:

Adam Quang  is an award winning interdisciplinary artist whose work explores human nature and plausibility in contemporary society; pieces that stroke the visual and tactile senses, that touch the heart, and hinge on the duality of his life spent in Asia and North America. In a mass market versus mass marketing framework, Adam’s art stirs our imagination through image and metaphor, shadow and hidden meaning within. He provokes action from the viewer and invites them to be part of the evolving art. He is the founder of World Karma Project. I attended Adam’s Meditation & Neck and Shoulder Care class a couple of weeks ago and must say that it was a delightful experience. Adam takes the time to address each student’s concerns and creates a wonderful & soothing atmosphere. The small class sizes make for an intimate experience that one may not get in a large studio. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in meditation, especially those just starting to incorporate it into their lives.
